Hi! My name is Val Dooley. I've always had a passion for baking and cake decorating. The decorating part goes back to when I first started decorating my daughter's birthday cakes 24 years ago (wow!). I've also decorated cakes/cupcakes for many other occasions over the years. In the beginning, my cake decorating techniques were all self-taught, as it is mainly a hobby. 

 

I then took all three levels of the Wilton Method of Cake Decorating Classes and loved every minute! I'm currently enrolled in about twenty different cake decorating classes on Craftsy.com which allows me to continue honing my skills as a "cake artist."
